Burntisland 1894 - Fife Sheet 40.06
STEVE GARTON GENEALOGY - GODFREY EDITION OLD ORDNANCE SURVEY MAPS
BURNTISLAND 1894 - FIFE SHEET 40.06
These detailed maps normally cover an area of about one and a half miles by one mile. Each map includes an introduction and many include extracts of directories, local transport timetables and additional maps.
This detailed map of Burntisland is double-sided for maximum coverage.
Sheet 40.06 covers the north side of town, including Kirkton, old church, Grange Distillery, Binnhead, Grange House, Colinswell, Grange Quarry, Kilmundy Quarry, Newbigging Limestone Mine with tramways, Dunearn Hill etc.
On the reverse we include sections of sheets 40.10 and 40.11 to give detailed coverage of the town centre, the railway with station, harbour, dock, Ferry Pier, Slip Pier, Locomotive Workshop, Rossend Castle, High Street, churches etc.
It will be posted in a board backed envelope to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.
NB: We are unable to do searches of maps. We stock almost 3000 maps covering the UK and unfortunately do not have the "local" knowledge of the area concerned and trying to find specific streets etc is a bit like looking for a needle in a haystack unless you know where to look. All our maps have descriptions of the area shown so we suggest a bit of research should be able to narrow it down.
