We have published three versions of this map, showing how the area changed across the years.

This detailed map covers the busy Cheetham, Higher Broughton and High Town area north of Manchester. Coverage stretches from Broughton Lane and Derby Street northward to Tetlow Lane and Heath Street, and from the River Irwell eastward to Cheetham Hill.

Features include Albert Park, Cromwell Bridge, Broughton Town Hall, tramways, Kersal Dale, St John's church Broughton, Mandley Park, Fairy Lane Brickworks, St James church, St Alban's church, Cheetham Park, St John's church Cheetham, Oakhill Home, Broughton Street Brickworks, garment waterproofing works, many small works units (hide curing, pharmacy works, printing works etc etc) among the terraced streets, The Cliff, football ground (Broughton Rangers and today Manchester United's training ground), synagogues, cinemas, tramways, etc. Bury New Road and Waterloo Road run through the map. On the reverse we include selections of street directory entries.

The map links up with sheets 96.14 Broughton Park to the north, 104.01 Pendleton North to the west, 104.03 Harpurhey to the east and 104.06 Manchester NW to the south.
