EDMONTON SOUTH EAST 1894 - LONDON SHEET 4
These detailed maps normally cover an area of about one and a half miles by one mile. Each map includes an introduction and many include extracts of directories, local transport timetables and additional maps.
We have just the one version of this map, one of a group of four covering Edmonton. This covers the SE area of Edmonton, stretching from Cavendish Road eastward to Chingford Hall, from Angel Road station northward to Salmons Brook and Flanders Weir. Features on a largely unpopulated map include Eley's Cartridge Works with its tramways, a stretch of the GER railway with the Edmonton branch, Chingford Mill Pumping Station, stretches of the River Lea and Lea Navigation, Locke's Wharf, Cook's Ferry pub, the northern part of Angel Works. Streets include Folly Lane (on the Essex side of the river), Angel Road, Jeremys Green Lane.
The map links up with London Sheets, 2 Picketts Lock to the north, 3 Upper Edmonton to the east, and 9 Tottenham Marsh to the south.
It will be posted in a board backed envelope to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition
