Features include Haigh village with St David's church, windmill, Brewery, Meadow Pit, Haigh House etc. It also includes the northern part of Aspull, with Holly Nook, Moor Pit No.5, tramway, Mineral Railway, Gorses Pit (disused). It then stretches NE to include Scot Lane End and Scot Lane Collieries.
The map links up with sheet 86.09 Blackrod to the north, 85.16 Haigh Hall to the west, 86.14 Hilton House to the east, 94.01 Aspull South to the south.
