These detailed maps normally cover an area of about one and a half miles by one mile. Each map includes an introduction and many include extracts of directories, local transport timetables and additional maps.

We have published two versions of this detailed map, showing how the area changed across the years. Each covers the same area, including Ardwick and the southern part of Ancoats. Coverage stretches from Brook Street eastward to Barmouth Street, and from Pollard Street southward to Clowes Street.

Features include London Road (today Piccadilly) station, Mayfield station, GCR goods station, Ardwick station, Ancoats goods station, many other railway lines and sidings, incl engine shed and Ardwick Branch; tramways and depot; Ardwick Cemetery, Manchester City's Hyde Road football ground, Bradford Recreation Ground, David Lewis Playground, Rusholme Road Cemetery, Ardwick Green, Ardwick Cemetery, School of Technology, Workhouse, Vulcan Works, Dale Street Basin, Manchester & Ashton Canal, Britannia Brewery, etc. On the reverse we include a selection of street directory entries.

The map links up with sheets 104.07 Manchester NE to the north, 104.10 Manchester SW to the west, 104.12 Openshaw to the east and 104.15 Victoria Park to the south.
