Portchester 1937 - Hampshire Sheet 75.11
STEVE GARTON GENEALOGY - GODFREY EDITION OLD ORDNANCE SURVEY MAPS
PORTCHESTER 1937 - HAMPSHIRE SHEET 75.11
These detailed maps normally cover an area of about one and a half miles by one mile. Each map includes an introduction and many include extracts of directories, local transport timetables and additional maps.
This detailed map of Portchester is double-sided for maximum coverage.
The main map covers the village of Portchester, including New Town, Methodist church, Trafalgar Wharf, etc, with coverage extending east to Portsmouth Racecourse, Paulsgrove and Paulsgrove Halt.
On the reverse we include a large part of adjacent sheet 75.15 extending coverage south to include Portchester Castle, St Mary's church and part of Horsea Island.
The map links up with Hampshire Sheets 75.12 Cosham to the east.
It will be posted in a board backed envelope to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.
NB: We are unable to do searches of maps. We stock almost 3000 maps covering the UK and unfortunately do not have the "local" knowledge of the area concerned and trying to find specific streets etc is a bit like looking for a needle in a haystack unless you know where to look. All our maps have descriptions of the area shown so we suggest a bit of research should be able to narrow it down.
