SHEFFIELD LOXLEY VALLEY 1902 - YORKSHIRE SHEET 294.02
These detailed maps normally cover an area of about one and a half miles by one mile. Each map includes an introduction and many include extracts of directories, local transport timetables and additional maps.
This detailed map covers the area on the NW side of Sheffield. Coverage stretches from Walkley Bank and Malinbridge westward to Knowle Top, and from Studfield Hill southward to Stannington Road. Features include the hamlets of Malinbridge, Walkley Bank, Wisewood and Loxley. Major features include Wisewood Forge, River Loxley, Low Matlock Rolling Mills, Studfield Hill, Woodland View, Hollins Bridge Mill, Green Wheel Steel Works, Olive Rolling Mill, Boulder Hill, Havelock Steel & Wire Mills. On the reverse we include directories of Loxley and Stannington.
It will be posted in a board backed envelope to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.
NB: We are unable to do searches of maps. We stock almost 3000 maps covering the UK and unfortunately do not have the "local" knowledge of the area concerned and trying to find specific streets etc is a bit like looking for a needle in a haystack unless you know where to look. All our maps have descriptions of the area shown so we suggest a bit of research should be able to narrow it down.
