STOURBRIDGE SOUTH & OLDWINSFORD 1901 - WORCESTERSHIRE SHEET 4.14a
These detailed maps normally cover an area of about one and a half miles by one mile. Each map includes an introduction and many include extracts of directories, local transport timetables and additional maps.
We have published two versions of this map, showing how the area developed across the years. The maps cover the southern half of Stourbridge, together with Old Swinford, and part of Upper Swinford. Coverage stretches from Witton Street and Clifton Street eastward to Pedmore Road, and from Greenfield Avenue southward to Worcester Lane.
Features include GWR line with Stourbridge Junction station, section of Stourbridge Town branch, Old Swinford Hospital, Studley Court, Promenade Gardens, Heath area, Old Swinford area, Prescott House, Chaw Hill area, Hungary Hill Mines, Pepperhill Works, New Farm Mines, St Mary's church, etc.
The map links up with Worcestershire sheets 4.10 Stourbridge North to the north and 9.02 Pedmore to the south.
It will be posted in a board backed envelope to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.
NB: We are unable to do searches of maps. We stock almost 3000 maps covering the UK and unfortunately do not have the "local" knowledge of the area concerned and trying to find specific streets etc is a bit like looking for a needle in a haystack unless you know where to look. All our maps have descriptions of the area shown so we suggest a bit of research should be able to narrow it down.
