The maps cover the western part of Stretford, and the eastern part of Urmston. On the Stretford side we have St Matthew's church, New Shed Farm, Manor House, tramways, Victoria Park, Park Road Farm, Robin Hood pub. The map goes as far east as Victoria Road. The maps show great changes happening as the relatively open countryside bec ame busy suburbia.
We include a selection of street directory extracts on the reverse of each map.
