Wentworth 1901 - Yorkshire Sheet 283.13
STEVE GARTON GENEALOGY - GODFREY EDITION OLD ORDNANCE SURVEY MAPS
WENTWORTH 1901 - YORKSHIRE SHEET 283.13
These detailed maps normally cover an area of about one and a half miles by one mile. Each map includes an introduction and many include extracts of directories, local transport timetables and additional maps.
This detailed map is double-sided to provide maximum coverage. The main map covers Wentworth Woodhouse hall and the southern part of the village. Features include much of Wentworth Park, the Hall, Holy Trinity church, Rockingham Arms, Spittal Houses etc.
On the reverse we include part of adjacent sheet 283.09 covering the northern part of the village.
The map links up with Yorkshire Sheet 289.01 Thorpe Hesley to the south.
It will be posted in a board backed envelope to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.
NB: We are unable to do searches of maps. We stock almost 3000 maps covering the UK and unfortunately do not have the "local" knowledge of the area concerned and trying to find specific streets etc is a bit like looking for a needle in a haystack unless you know where to look. All our maps have descriptions of the area shown so we suggest a bit of research should be able to narrow it down.
